DRAWING and PAINTING

Photography is at the root of nearly everything I do. Painting is my passion and drawing is an old friend I often visit. Each transfer of ideas through every moment is informed by the same influences- my personal experiences in my private and public life, my interests and my fears.

Daily movements through life inspire the work I make whether it is 2D or time based media. So when I am asked about the seeming disparity between working methods, I simply reply that I use the best tool for the most effective expressions to the best of my ability. Every day I learn something new and aspire to apply daily inspirations to the longevity of my work.
